What’s your favorite school hymn?
After a rather long but fruitful “life” conversation with my lovely lady (via the newly installed updated Mac Beta version of Skype) I found myself in the kitchen humming a hymn while I was attacking the stove with the skill of an ape. It’s called When a Knight Won His Spurs and is without doubt my favorite of all those I remember. Digging deeper it was probably triggered by the afore mentioned green bubbled Skype conversation as its a hymn I believe sits close to my nostalgic heart with its boyish, heroic charm and gallant St. George fighting dragons, the dream of any young boy making his way in life..
