Et Voila!, Wrench 5 for your listening pleasure. It’s the usual Wrench affair, wistful pianos, guitars, vocals, orchestral sweeps and electronic soundscapes. For some reason it doesn’t feel as fluid as the last Wrench but no matter, I like the collection of sounds and emotions and there are 28 tracks to choose from (including the faint hum of the planet Jupiter). I hope you find something to tickle your unique fancy.

A great practical use of the Wrench series is for the odious task of Shopping. Press play and glide through the clouds instead of crowds in your very own impenetrable Wrench bubble, works for me… As for the artwork, well it’s just too good for words is it not…

The music is flowing thick & fast this month which is unusual as January tends to be alcohol and 4/4 free for me… This is the new FYB mix of tracks from 2011 that were Funktion One ready at our NYE party Boompt! and that I haven’t already used on previous mixes. Here’s the talk-free version of my monthly Finca am radio show on Ibiza Global Radio. An emotive electronic journey as per finca normal with some genre erratic curve balls thrown in, hopefully keeping things evolving and fresh.

I saw the lantern pic on a BBC Financial News article (yawn) but it sits perfectly with the magical finca am vibe…
